Atlantic Mussels are an easy and versatile seafood option for a flavourful meal that can be prepared in little time.
Atlantic Mussels are best enjoyed simply steamed and served with butter, in a rich and creamy chowder, or elevated into a delicious pasta dish. This product is conveniently packed in a bag and we suggest serving ½ lb to 1 lb of mussels per person.

Soak mussels in cold water and discard any with broken shells or ones that are open and do not close when tapped. Scrub shells with a brush and remove any beards. Rinse thoroughly.
Steam mussels in a large pot with aromatics (garlic, onion) and liquid (wine, broth) over high heat with the lid on for 3-7 minutes until the shells open, discarding any that remain closed, and serve immediately.
