  • 1 x 1 kg Clearwater Sea Scallops
  • 1 x 2 lb Raw Shrimp
  • 1 x 2 lb bag of Fresh Atlantic Mussels

Cooking Instructions

MUSSELS: Soak mussels in cold water and discard any with broken shells or ones that are open and do not close when tapped. Scrub shells with a brush and remove any beards. Rinse thoroughly. Steam mussels in a large pot with aromatics (garlic, onion) and liquid (wine, broth) over high heat with the lid on for 3-7 minutes until the shells open, discarding any that remain closed, and serve immediately. SCALLOPS: Defrost scallops before cooking. Heat 15 ml (1 tbsp) of oil in a pan over medium heat. Season scallops with salt and pepper and place individually in the pan. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown colour starts to creep up the edges of the scallop. Turn and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow scallops to rest in the pan for 1 minute. SHRIMP: Defrost, rinse under cold water and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper and any other flavourings you like, toss in olive oil. Sauté, bake or grill until shrimp turn pink and are cooked throughout, approximately 4-5 minutes total, flipping halfway through. *Remove shell before consuming.
